Jar Life

Jar Life

Living life on a healing diet requires planning and unapologetically eating your own food wherever you go. For me, learning how to travel with my food has allowed me to say YES to more social activities. I make up a bunch of these jars and then take them out with me into the world.

If a spontaneous event comes up, I've got a jar packed. If I am unexpectedly hungry after work, I've got a jar packed. If my 3 mile walk leaves me too hungry to cook, I've got a jar packed! This habit has been the most beneficial to maintaining social wellness without getting off track on my dietary wellness.

Check out below to see how I set up and prepare my jar meals.

Meal preparation using roasted veggies, fresh cucumbers, fresh herbs, avocado and ground beef.
